Woohoo! Did you guys have fun? Basically, I wanna say a lot of thanks to those who participated and I sincerely hope you have benefited from it. It was our very first time organising and managing a camp and it was like a panadol to a headache, a Changi to an Airport, chilli to car kway teow, sauce to steak when we heard compliments. TEEHEE. Hazel, your group influenced me. HAHA.

Hello everybody!

So, well! The interviews are done! Candidates chosen! List drawn up! But hold your horses.. Not yet... Hehe. The official release will be in two weeks' time.

First of all, let me, the BA Updater, thank sincerely each and every person who turned up for the interviews. Thank you! Let me apologise on behalf of BA upon any inconvenience or hassles or whatever that you had encountered. We truly respect your dedication and commitment! For me, I am sincerely touched that all of you made the effort to come down! Thank you!

LATEST EVENTS FOR BA...

Hellos! So after the two-week workliday (don't you all agree??? it's not a holiday *wails*), we had our first event, the investiture of the new main committees of the Business School IGs. Sorry but I have no photos withe me currently. Let me shout out: ALYSSA!!! PHOTOS PLEASE!!!! LOL.

So, we were 'investitured' in by the Course Manager of BIT. All of us were dressed in full formal, except for that one woman.. Haiyo. HAHA. We were all extremely nervous and not to mention wondering very aloud. We were the only IG in Business School that was an all-LADIES team.

BUT BUT guys... Don't get turned off. We are not your ordinary girls, let me tell you. We pack a mean punch. try the PR Manager's punch and you'll know it. LOL, kidding! Photos up later okay?

So the next BA event was ushering and crowd-controlling of Mr Inderjit Singh's talk on entrepreneurship at Auditorium 1. The audience was very cooperative! *Phew* Full-formal as well. Lois was the emcee for the event. So, this is what we do; crowd-control, emceeing, ushering. Basically, that is why BAs need to be service-oriented and comfortable with meeting people. YEP!

There is another event this coming 20th August. Will update on that!

Hi everybody! Yes, it's that time of the year again!! We will be reeeeeecruiting!!

Advertisements with details will be displayed all over Business School (22nd-25th July). We will also be going into your lectures and promoting the recruitment (23-24th July)!! A booth will also be set up on the 25th of July to facilitate and promote the recruitment, probably outside the library or Business School.

And finally, the interview (yes, there is, but please do not worry too much about it. Evidence: I pulled through!! The Kanchiong Queen!! Mwaha) will be scheduled from 28th July til the 1st of August.

Hi everybody!! It's been so long since the Updater last Updated. MWAHA.

Anyways, the Graduation Day ushering went totally uber-HAWT! BA rocks our socks. Allow me to congratulate each and everyone who was involved. Did I mention that it was the last event for the last Main Comm? Boy, do we miss them. After a round of photo-taking, we then separated.

BA Emcee Workshop Part 2

Hello Ambassadors!!!

This workshop will be held on the 28th of March, Friday at 1030 hrs at the Communication Hub.

The emcee workshop trains BA members to become entertaining, yet professional emcees, as well as empowering us with the quick-thinking and strategic (i.e SAVE THE EVENT IN CASE ANYTHING UNTOWARD HAPPENS!!) skills. Not only does BA allow you to explore service-related activities, but BA also allows you to realise your own potential in the field of hosting!

We are taught personally by our very own youth-minded adviser, Mrs Mary Thomas, so your time at a BA workshop will definitely NOT be mundane! SO come down this Friday and let Tracy know!
